Book Guide to English Language
This list contains books by members of staff at Lancaster University Department of Linguistics and English Language. All books on this list are written at a level which will be accessible to teachers of English Language. Some of them can be used directly by A-level students while others will contain examples and data which students can use.
2. The NEAB Guide to English Language Books
The following guide is reproduced by kind permission of the Northern Examination and Assesment Board and is an extract from their English Language A-level reading list. They describe it as "a list of books that have proved most popular with teachers and best known by students".
This list was compiled by members of staff at Lancaster University Department of Linguistics and English Language and aims to include the most up-to-date and accessible books on a range of topics relevant to A-level English Language.
