TLRP-TEL digital literacies workshop

A digital literacies workshop was held for the Teaching and Learning Research Programme - Technology Enhanced Learning at the Lancaster University Conference Centre/Lancaster House Hotel on 12-13 March 2009. Julia Gillen and David Barton of the Literacy Research Centre were invited to organise the event by Richard Noss, TLRP-TEL director. Key inputs were also given by Don Passey, Educational Research; Paul Coulton, Communication Systems/CeMoRe, and Monika Buscher of CeMoRe/Sociology, all at Lancaster University.

The event was attended by 28 researchers, invited by the programme, representing 7 of the 8 current TLRP-TEL projects. The TLRP-TEL programme is jointly funded by the ESRC and the EPSRC. The workshop will lead to the publication of a Commentary on digital literacies.
