Second Language Learning and Teaching Research Group (SLLAT)

This research group welcomes staff, students, and visitors interested in issues in second language learning and pedagogy.

Activities include talks, reports of research work-in-progress, the development of research projects, workshops, and occasional guest speakers.

Announcements of times and venues are emailed to department staff, students, and visitors. Please contact the organiser (see above) if you wish to be added to the mailing list.

Language Testing Research Group

LTRG Website | Programme Details

The Language Testing Research Group (LTRG) is open to anyone interested in language testing issues. It provides a forum for discussing current issues in language testing research, individual research projects, research students' interests and research worries.

In the past the group has conducted several collaborative projects.
