Chinese Studies Research Group (CSRG)

The Chinese Studies Research Group began in October 2007. Chinese Studies in various forms is an increasingly important area of activity in UK universities. At Lancaster there are many Chinese postgraduate students and visiting researchers working on various aspects of Chinese language, literature, society, politics, education, philosophy, religious studies, management science, and similar areas. The CSRG provides a forum for all researchers, whether Chinese or not, to present and discuss their work and interests. The themes covered by the Group so far have represented various disciplines, including linguistics, discourse analysis, religious studies, education, sociology and philosophy. All proposals in all similar areas are welcome.
