Ruth Wodak is invited to give the John Sinclair Lecture

The English Language and Applied Linguistics division of the Dept of English at Birmingham University is pleased to announce that the 2012 Sinclair Lecture will take place at 5pm on Wednesday 9 May, and will be given by Professor Ruth Wodak (Lancaster University).
The title of her lecture is: "Integrating Sociolinguistics and (Critical) Discourse Studies: Challenges and Perspectives".
