What's it like to study with us?

Lancaster undergraduate studentTo give you an idea of what it is like to come and study with us we have a selection of videos from our Undergraduate students and to give more of a sense of what we are like and our areas of interest we have some videos of members of staff talking about aspects of the Department's work.

Department Open days

We encourage applicants to come to one of our Open Days; our students tell us that the Lancaster experience is quite special and that you need to come to an Open Day in order to appreciate Lancaster's advantages.

Teaching in the Department

teaching in a seminarWe are committed to high quality teaching - we like our students to have access to our research through our courses. New ideas and developments feed directly into what our students learn, and we are keen on developing the many kinds of teaching that we use.
